The noti does not work…

i’ve been using the app for more than a year. but recently i found that i can’t receive any notifications from scmp app. given that screening through noti previews is my major way to get the most updated news, i sincerely want this to be fixed asap. thanks a lot.

Censorship, political bias and a platform for offensive Pro-CCP trollers

The SCMP has become a tool for censorship and a platform for pro-Beijing trollers to post misinformation, disinformation, deceitful and disrespectful comments about Hong Kongers, democracy and other democratic nations (90% WolfWarriors). Opinions by SCMP columnists have frequently posted biased reports that promotes hate on Hong Kongers and democratic countries. Disrespectful, deceitful, misinformation and disinformation postings in the comment sections by Pro-Beijing Communist trollers often get ignored, despite their comments being reported. However, reviewers who have retaliated against the offensive posts by CCP trollers often get deleted and censored. This is the very definition of double standards. The SCMP has now become far from independent or impartial. I’m about to delete and discontinue use of this newspaper app. You have been warned about this biased media outlet.

unreasonable subscription thing

I’m a young person just trying to read NEWS, you know what’s better than having to pay for news? I could just go down and grab a free newspaper and read the same exact news. But you know we people will avoid going down bc of Covid and you’re gonna take advantage of that? no thanks I’d rather delete the app than have to pay money to read news. Also i have noticed that we can read the same articles but free on your website?! what’s that supposed to mean huh?? Also i’ve found a misleading article regarding K-pop, please do your research, in fact I think literally anyone even a local could look at that article and say it’s hugely wrong, please look at it.
